At all our live events, we feature a handful of properties that will be up for Auction. Throughout the event, you may experience some aggressive and competitive bidding between hopeful buyers looking to take home their dream property. Not to mention, we also feature a handful of select properties that were sold prior to the event due to 3 – 6 weeks of public advertising.
When the clock strikes, Harcourts Auctioneer – Ben Brady, will welcome the room before explaining in detail how the event will run. During the live event, it is not uncommon for the event to pause and re-start frequently throughout the night. Some deals may require further negotiation. The auctioneer may pause bidding and assist in the negotiation between buyers and sellers. An auction event can be an exciting but also daunting time for buyers and sellers, however, we aim to ensure the transaction is as seamless as possible through the genuine and transparent process run by our skilled Auction team.
